I doubt they'll ever be able to bring themselves to blame the pain on Trump. That would require them to admit they were wrong and their MAGA egos won't allow that.

Not sure what point you're trying to make regarding search engines by invoking Chromium. Using the Chromium codebase for a browser (like Edge) doesn't require its users to then use the google search engine.
