📽 Finally got around to watching Amazon's War of the Worlds yesterday. Absolutely nothing about this movie works; I cannot recommend it enough. Truly something that needs to be seen to be believed 👍

📽 Just finished watching Memoir of a Snail; it's more or less everything I wanted out of Adam Elliot's second feature film. It's as heartbreaking as it is uplifting, a more than worthy follow-up to Mary and Max (2009). Highly recommended

Fun fact about Banjo-Kazooie: Rusty Bucket Bay is generally agreed to be the hardest level in the game. However, when setting up the FFM glitch for speedrunning, RBB is the only level in the game it's possible to play to 100% completion

📽 Watched Poor Things. Genuinely some of the most visually creative set design I've ever seen, with Emma Stone giving easily the best performance of her career. The whole movie feels like a culmination of everything Yorgos Lanthimos has learnt as a filmmaker so far and I cannot recommend it enough 👍

📽 Finally watched The Zone of Interest. Truly the most haunting viewing experience of 2023, perfectly capturing the cold, callous, apathetic nature of everyday life during the Holocaust. Highly recommended 👍
