The big reason to use WebComponents is style isolation, and cross-project reusability. There's plenty of value, and I wish we'd see them for what they offer and not as an "alternative" to React/etc.

I'll mention this only because it seems unpopular to talk about, and although I have a weary relationship with them, but I really do enjoy all the little dev services Cloudflare offers. CF Pages are 100x superior to GitHub Pages, with free server-side analytics. And still free!
