It’s really so difficult to imagine a more disappointing cabinet member than Rubio. Regretfully, I did have a small amount of hope that given his intelligence background, he wouldn’t cross that line, but sadly he did.

I know I’ve said this before, but my only hope right now is that Republicans find that line in the sand. I’m not confident by any means, but I still hold out some hope that it might happen. Please find the strength to resist.

So admittedly, I don’t have much to hope for politically, BUT perhaps there’s some remote possibility that at least a handful of republicans will find that line in the sand, and not cross it. For now, it’s all I’ve got. 🙏

Just watched the Meet the Press segment with Senators Lankford and Warnock. First bipartisan, conversation I’ve felt was heartfelt, honest, and sincere. I’m a tiny bit hopeful at this moment.
