Mine is real simple, let trans people use whichever bathroom they want. You're only trying to segregate them to make yourself feel safer, your plan doesn't do anything to actually make people safer it just discriminates.

You didn't address a large part of my question. What about non-feminine women? Or trans men? Are they supposed to be humiliated every time they want to use the bathroom so some women feel safer? And are they supposed to have guards at every women's bathroom in case someone does try and get in?

I see, so you're saying it would be reported. How would this affect women who don't appear traditionally feminine? Would they have to justify going to the bathroom every time? How would this prevent anything? If an incident occurs, wouldn't the crime matter more than that someone was trans?

So your best option to keep women safe is to have them get swabbed, wait for a result, all before they go to the bathroom, and at every single women's bathroom in the country?Faking and ID is a crime, as is everything you worry a man person might do if they did got in. Your argument refutes itself.

And my question is how do you intend to verify biological sex without invading privacy? Any sort of ID can be faked, having someone check via inspection is a massive invasion, also affects cis women who aren't "feminine" enough, and is also logistically a nightmare. How do you plan to enforce that?

Question, how do you, as an outsider, determine whether someone is trans or not? Seems like that might lead to some invasion of privacy if a woman looks too masculine. Would you feel comfortable having that done to you because someone else was uncomfortable?

It's been like that with so many things, tbh. 😕 In addition to discrimination, it's a roundabout form of control. Limit the access a given group has to reresources, fountains, bathrooms, etc., and you control where they can go. Hard to be out all day if you can't use the bathroom or drink water.

It really is. I remember during the whole trans bathroom thing having to point this out so many times, if someone is assaulting people in bathrooms, the issue is the assault, not their gender. Cis or trans, anyone can do it. Clearly they were just using fear to push discrimination on a minority.
