but this is a bad prebuilt rig (like intel rapid storage technology bad) from 2022 which by that time already had a bunch of outdated hardware so im not surprised things weren't working well.

mint cause it was the only distro that would install lmao, it was fine for the most part but games would run significantly worse and whenever it would do a timeshift snapshot or i installed a game from steam the whole system would just slow down to the point of being unusable.
