Hi all, we are aware of the increase in false positives related to the MAGA label. We are working on adjusting the auto labeling criteria. While we make a good faith effort to handle negation, the label does what it says on the box, and we may miss some uses cases as they become more prevalent.

You were initially labeled after going on a day long antisemitic rant. You appealed and pointed us to an apology post, and we removed the label. However, we restored the label after several posts which made it clear that the apology was perfunctory and manipulative.

We don't know what's up with the #AltGov accounts either, but based on reports know many of you don't want them in your timeline, so we've got a new label for that! As always, it defaults to off, so you have to opt in to using it.

We're rolling out a new label. This one labels accounts with the 💙 emoji in their username or description. We know that some of our users have this emoji in their profile and want to explain a bit about why.

When you report, make sure the you select the correct labeler, and that the check boxes next to the other labelers you subscribe to are not checked:

Folks. Please read the description of the blocklist before you subscribe to it. We do our best to weed out false positives, but we use automation to keep up with the volume and it's not easily able to distinguish between a hashtag that is used by resistance types or pro-trump types.

Quick update: The "🦖 Dinosaur Emoji" label has been retired and rolled into the pre-existing "TERF" label.

We've noticed a certain type of troll that creates an account with Elon Musk's name. While it would require some extreme credulousness to actually believe these are actually Musk, we also don't like spammers and trolls, so we've created an "Elon Musk in bio" label.

We've added another label: Nazi Symbolism. This is another display name and description based label. It will cover things like swastikas, Nazi numerology, and double lightning bolts. Labeled accounts will also be added to an associated moderation list: bsky.app/profile/skyw...
