I can't speak for the UK, but in the US, SNAP benefits fraud accounts for an estimated 1% of all usage. This means that maybe someone who doesn't quite qualify is getting some produce or bread. This doesn't mean an average household is getting their groceries for free. Context matters.

The point here is that Trump policies hurt Trump voters as much or more than anyone else. It's not about scamming. The scam was his campaign. Even Trump voters deserve to eat. It's not left vs. right, it's top vs. bottom.
