As AnimEigo mentioned in their blog post, we also don’t have a big distribution reach yet, so we’re super grateful for all their help so far.

We’ve got some plans for next year that should help us grow and hopefully get to a point where we can do more!

We still really want to do physical releases, but as a smaller company, BD-R production also gets pretty pricey. In the end, we knew it wouldn't be sustainable. A lot of what we made from Prime Rose went right back into production and disc costs.

One of the big reasons was the BD-R discs. People reached out or posted publicly saying they wouldn’t buy it because of that, which made us realize BD-Rs might not be the best long-term option, especially knowing there are fans of Prime Rose who still haven’t experienced the release.

At this time, Prime Rose will be released as an on-demand BD-R. As a small independent studio, we're currently working with a limited budget, which makes large-scale disc replication a bit out of reach for now.
