I understand it's not a personal attack on me, and I agree we do need to protect things like this whilst also getting a better alternative which will work and not be overpriced I have no issue with the people using things like this, but I do stand with the point of we do need an alternative.

we will never see them. I am not your enemy, we clearly want something atleast similar. We do need to include them in the argument of using plastics excessively, but we cannot leave out that just getting rid of them isn't an option

I understand a similar struggle having to care for people with disabilities in my life, obviously I cannot understand you and I'm sorry for your loss. My point wasn't attacking or saying we should get rid of these things, it's just that we do have alternatives and if we never address that, -

Read what I have to say first, never said disabled people where this issue, just that we will one day have to address a new way to package items like this. Not sure about the US but there are services in most of Europe which collect compostable items like how you would with recyclables.

I get that argument, but there are ways to make it so a compostable bag is easier to open or rip, recycling is good, but we should still reduce plastic use, because the process of recycling plastic does still cause a lot of carbon emissions. Not saying we should stop doing this, but we are running-
