Wonderful, Eric! I'll definitely keep this in mind. I envision that the Shoreline EP will be the final single release for 'Answers', but new music will definitely be trickling out at some point within the next six months.

if I could put together something that he - and all of us - would enjoy hearing.

I premiered the track as the intro music at a recent gig, where he was in the audience, and he was absolutely thrilled with what I've put together. 3/3

I decided to ask my Dad to record a poem written almost 150 years ago. I didn't initially explain the reasons why, but it's twofold - firstly, I get to own a recording of him so that I can always hear his voice; and secondly, I wanted to add music around the poem to see 2/3

It will be interesting to hear what some of you think about this new version. 4/4

vocal effects, replaced the drums. In fact, most of the original recording was considered fair game.

It feels almost like a new song. 'Colours' was a close contender for this single, but quite a few people have mentioned how much they really like 'Shoreline'. 3/4

I love performing 'The Ill Wind'. There's a twist in the lyrics, so you'll likely be wondering if the song is literal or metaphorical. I'll leave that one for you to decide... 2/2

There's a reference to a 'storm on the way', which is something that often seems to happen in an effort to trip us up in life. 4/4

I remember looking out of the window, with the sea just 15 metres away. We can all identify with a shoreline whether it's a windy beach in England, or wandering along a faraway shore. 'Shoreline' is the place we all go when we want to think about stuff. 3/4

structure for 'Shoreline', and the melody followed soon after. It's slightly unusual in that the song is written in 3/4 timing.

A friend's parents used to own a small place by the sea in Staithes, North Yorkshire, and they'd allow me to stay there for a weekend. 2/4
