Funding Ukraine, would be funding a war, you're not involved in. We would be having a completely different conversation, if there were US troops on the frontline.

Well, I don't know about "forcing pregnancy", unless it's a situation involving r@pe, I don't think anyone is "forcing pregnancy" on anyone. Even most of the "pro-life" conservatives I know, support abortion under certain circumstances.

We probably already agree on religion. However, it's not a matter of "agree or disagree", it's just a matter of fact. Religion has molded our current society into what it is. Over thousands of years, religious teachings have been handed down. Everything we know today, is based on religion.

So why are the mentally ill, allowed to own guns? I live in Canada, & I own guns, but you have to complete gun training, pass a security/mental health check, & get a license/ approval from the RCMP;(the Canadian version of the FBI for you Americans), all before you are even allowed to own a gun.

As a Canadian conservative, even I've noticed that about Americans. From the day they are born, until they turn 18, & can join the military, American's don't seem to care.

That's because of religion. the Bible has given us a base set of morals, to which society has basically followed, for over a thousand of years. If we removed all religions influence, from our government, chaos would ensue.

Can you imagine the chaos That would ensue, if everyone just did, whatever made them happy, without any restrictions or ramifications.

Until my happiness, interferes with your happiness, then who's happiness gets priority?

Yeah because the act of swearing on the Bible, doesn't date all the way back to George Washington, when he swore on the Bible at his inauguration. And I'm guessing The phrases "one nation under God", and "in God we trust" are all just coincidences, right?
