So you're fine with explicit artwork representing what is intended as a person under the age of 18, so long as it's not easily recognizable as an actual physical child? Or so long as we can't match the image with the child? If the art is based on reality, there's someone who's going to match.

Federal law defines CSAM as any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor. This includes art, either computer generated or not. Any content that is of an obscene nature and clearly depicts a minor is CSAM.

This is why I asked the question during SLB about how they're moderating this content. They clearly aren't.

This is also where communication and dynamics come into play. I'm not one for texting and "good morning" texts sound like a nightmare to me. Which is something I'd discuss and then try and find another way to share/express my interest in my partner that they do find fulfilling as well.

So did Kokua, which is still a better viewer.

This either isn't SL or not current SL. How can I tell? Because there's nowhere in SL that's this developed and there's not enough abandoned or protected land.

What's self-projecting about my statement? That's a screenshot from the marketplace ad. Maybe the person who created them didn't intend for them to be considered as child avatars, but she did word them as such.

Either way, it'd be awkward AF to see a Dinkie while someone else was getting it on.

Wasn't Independence Day the original No Kings Day? Seems we just need to actually start celebrating that again instead of celebrating the fireworks.

They are marketed as "kittens." Kittens are child-aged cats.

Personally, I think Dinkies are awesome. I have one and occasionally wear it. But they do not belong anywhere adult activity is taking place.

@philiprosedale.bsky.social @secondlife.bsky.social Governance is under Patch Lindens purview. And yet he's clearly failing to address concerns or moderate content properly. Why does he keep being protected? Why does he still have a job? If someone can't do the job, you find someone else.

Looking at the avatars at the swimming pool, 50% of the child avatars were wearing RLV collars.

LL is planning to add RLV to the main viewer. There's nothing inherently wrong with child avatars using RLV. But collars? Children. Should. Not. Be. Wearing. Collars.

Both regions are rated Moderate. There should be no sexually explicit material on Moderate, but guess what? There obviously is.

This is why I argued that child avatars should not be allowed on moderate. Some of us try to respect the rules and keep anything sexual private, but clearly not all.

@crush.secondlife.bio Actually had someone TP on to her with a fake Bonnie right when the controversy started. Still suspect that it was her own alt. 😋

We have 12 official Bonnies. Technically, I think there are two more that aren't part of the roaming team and occasionally make guest appearances. But if you search for BonnieBelle you'll end up with HUNDREDS of results. It's the biggest complaint and accusation we receive.
