It's unfortunate that I will never play Expedition 33, but we now know it used AI in its asset pipeline, and shipped those assets "by mistake." I'd be a huge hypocrite to give them what I value most, my time

Nor will I finish the Alters, again for it's inclusion of AI assets "by mistake."

GenAI as placeholder text is the weakest argument I've heard for GenAI in a pipeline. The point of placeholder is to be obvious and easily removed, not to serve as inspiration, at that point it's iterative text and should never be considered placeholder.

Perhaps there is a lesson here: Don't trust CEOs who dress up in armor.

Sometimes I start up Windows, and the news ticker says something like "Margaret Thatcher Resigns" and just for a second I'm very very confused.

Then I see in tiny print "It Happened on this Day" and am disappointed that I've not travelled back in time.

I really need to turn these off...

The Steam Survey is 90 percent systems that are well over 10+ years old. So this quote doesn't inspire much confidence:

"Valve looked at the Steam Hardware survey for a benchmark of the average gaming PC's performance. "The Steam Machine is equal or better than 70% of what people have at home""

Unity claims to be building a single dashboard to manage all you're games e-commerce? Am I reading this correctly? Epic has signed on but it's pretty light on info.
