A ton of people DID complain back in 2014 though. We just didn't have the term "Woke" yet in the public lexicon.

Agreed. It feels so out of ppace in the setting they have built up for the game. There are modern looking Final Fantasy games, this one isn't it.

I'm still solidly in the PF1E rules. But if you're familiar with them you should check out Spheres of power third party content. They really breathe new life into the system.
