I idealized Ash having a Clefairy/Clefable after a while, and I do think it fits Ash somewhat.
They really grew on me. (Sylveon still my fave fairy, though)

To this day, I still love this twist of "abandoned Fire-Type Starter", where the mon itself is abandoned before it was even chosen (AKA rejected).
