I left 4.5k followers behind on the platform where I met my life partner because of the changes in terms and policies. I blocked thousands of accounts and now they can see my posts and I theirs. I also was not okay with Grok using my content when I explicitly opted out.

I joined twitter in 2009 and left as soon as it was taken over by its new owner. I can’t say I love blue sky yet, I just joined today. I can say that I do like it so far and it’s easy to use. I might be here for a while.

I was actually suspended. I tweeted that I hoped Kamala Harris would beat Trump (quite mild). I was suspended because this went against “community rules” - I had to withdraw tweet. I didn’t so couldn’t access account. Tweet appears to have been withdrawn anyway (not by me). I haven’t used it since.

I like Blue Sky because this site is made for people who like to interact in a relaxed atmosphere. Also, it is easier to interact with people in my field. News and research seems to flow openly on this site…

I left 8,000 followers behind on two accounts. I left due to the high number of fake profiles on that site that people use as burner accounts to harass people. I also left due to the high number of bot accounts. The ads played a factor as well.

I learned that Elon supports the Carrot Man and left. X was also full of drama, and people didn't interact with your posts unless you had a famous account. It was so fake on there.

I seen a bunch of people mention Bluesky on Twitter and decided to make an account. I was tired of the evil that was on Twitter. Never looked back since

I saw a small story about Bluesky in a news article online, and I felt Musk only wanted conservatives' viewpoints on X. I shifted over here. I am an oddball. I am super conversative on some viewpoints, and I am super liberal on other viewpoints. I thought that I would fit in better over here.

It starts with Musk and ends with right wing extremism and the inability to get disgusting accounts banned….
