Any tips for researching this?
Our house is on a street whose name seemed to change in late 19th C between the two earliest OS maps I've found, and the newer name seems to match the house name engraved on our gatepost - so I'm very curious of the context, but no idea where to start looking!

I remember to ask the question then entirely forget the answer. Especially their names.
