There are different tracks, which just means different schedules, where students are “tracked in” for 9 weeks and then they track out for 3 weeks. Each track is out at different times, so students are always in the building.

I love that I teach a quarter and get a 3 week break!

Most administration will say their values align with the district’s, but when faced with angry parents they do everything they can to appease them. It doesn’t matter if the student/parent is in the wrong.

Supporting their teachers should be above pacifying parents.
