Think this is how we find our feet in defence- defend higher up and pressure teams into making mistakes which plays into OG/Bridges' strengths. It's no coincidence that now we've had a bit more rest/Thibs has had more trust in the bench and suddenly the energy and success on defence has gone up

4-3 unfortunately. It's traditional for us to lose against Atlanta and I think we'd do well to come out of the Wolves, King's, Grizzlies and Nuggets games with a 2-2 record. Hopefully should win the Nets/Sixers games relatively easily but who knows

Completely. Gets absolutely mauled on the way to the basket and gets absolutely nothing. Then on the other hand puts his hand on Dame's shoulder and is called for the foul 🤯

Fine with the latter being a foul but call it both ways. Can't not call could just because he's a big

This the big fallacy of this team is that it's not just built to score threes or get to the basket but it's the variety of scoring which makes chances easier to take. Not taking threes makes scoring in the paint harder and vice versa. Like you say they're at their best when they're doing both

Agree. Though I think it's interesting that the biggest bellwether for whether the Knicks win is Bridges form rather than Brunson's. Hopefully they work in time for the playoffs as Friday night proved they're not winning anything if Brunson has to carry 90% of the offence himself

As long as the other guys are being used as well. Whole point of this team is to generate space which doesn't make sense if the offence just goes through Brunson. But if he's drawing 2+ and still scoring and still providing for the rest that's when this team goes red hot

Sorry, I read your tweet too fast. Like I said though I don't think there's much we can take from this so far

Don't think it's fair to class it as the worst ever at this point. At the end of the day the metric which will decide how good a class it is is good many good/great players the draft produces and it's too soon to tell at this point

I'd say what he's the biggest example of is a failure of his marriage- the divorced dad energy is palpable.

When my Dad went through his midlife crisis he bought a Mazda MX-5 and ran it into the ground. This guy's done it to a whole social media platform

Which team is risking upsetting their locker room by signing him anyway when every place he's been it's ended in tears?
No contender will risk it for a player at $50m p/a salary and player option. Everyone else is Cooper Flag-chasing so not interested in signing stars who might mess that up!

Petition for any time a politician uses "reform" on QT they need to articulate what specific reform they have in mind. Seems to be code for "I want to sound radical and clever by suggesting something new" but really just reveals either their lack of ideas or malicious intent

Think this as much because of Mikal more than anything. Has been amazing in the last month giving Jalen a bit of rest on and off the court being able to contribute to some shot creation and being a reliable 20+pts a game without taking away from KAT etc's scoring

Lillard over Brunson makes me question the "Are you human" captcha's effectiveness
