I absolutely agree with you. 😊

Are you in favour of women being drafted?
January 4, 2025 at 9:52 AM
Can you frame your argument in the context of the millions of U.S. women who have lost their right to abortion, along with other rights under threat, such as access to contraception, protections against workplace discrimination, and equal pay initiatives?
December 31, 2024 at 10:01 AM
Finally, how do you reconcile this with the current political climate in the U.S., where the rise of Trumpism has been particularly damaging to women’s rights?
December 31, 2024 at 9:55 AM
How do we ensure balanced representation and fairness in such decisions if we rely on a predominantly male body to define "appropriate" roles for women?
December 31, 2024 at 9:53 AM
Additionally, how does your view on these differences align with the fact that male legislators (the majority in Congress) have historically controlled decisions about whether women should even be considered eligible for the draft?
December 31, 2024 at 9:53 AM
If women bring valuable perspectives to government, why shouldn’t they also contribute equally when national security is at stake—especially when military decisions affect everyone?
December 31, 2024 at 9:52 AM
You specifically asked for arguments framed in relation to the draft.

But in relation to your points: How do these differences justify excluding women from a draft while still compelling men to serve?

By this point, I'm pretty sure my blood type is coffee. 😁

Final thoughts:
If yelling is your measure, Jameson wins. If it’s competence, Perry White’s your guy. Editors: they make the newsrooms run (or fall apart).

Who’s your favourite? Who did I miss? Where did I put my coffee?

George Taylor (Superman, Golden Age)
The original Daily Star editor. A nice guy. Mostly remembered for not being Perry White.
Rating: 6.5/10 – Good, but he’s no Perry.

Cat Grant (Superman)
Started as a gossip columnist, leveled up to editor. Ambitious, sharp, and no-nonsense. Still underrated.
Rating: 7.5/10 – Do not underestimate her. Ever.

Fletcher and Martha (Transmetropolitan)
They edit in a dystopia and deal with Spider Jerusalem daily. Their patience is inhuman. Probably deserve hazard pay.
Rating: 8/10 – Saints of the future newsroom.

Robbie Robertson (Spider-Man)
Jameson’s polar opposite. Keeps the Bugle from becoming a complete circus. The newsroom’s moral backbone.
Rating: 8.5/10 – Too good for this world. Or the Bugle.

Perry White (Superman)
Doesn’t yell as much as Jameson, but when he does, you listen. Runs a newsroom with integrity. Made "Great Caesar’s Ghost!" a thing.
Rating: 10/10 – The editor other editors aspire to be.

J. Jonah Jameson (Spider-Man)
Known for two things: hating Spider-Man and yelling. Occasionally shows he’s not entirely terrible. Keeps the Daily Bugle afloat through sheer force of will.
Rating: 9/10 – Iconic. Loud. Somehow still employed.
