Medium format film is so high resolution! Right is 150% crop, you can read the writing on the tire when its not so compressed. This was shot on Foma 200, far from the finest-grain film available, scanned ~4000x4000 with a DSLR. I've heard MF film can be 80MP+

@skyatt.bsky.social speculates that these scenes were filmed with purple and pink lights but the white balance was corrected to be more blue, based on the magenta tones you can see in their skin in the final video.

I need to start looking for panoramic shots because this was a total accident and it became one of my favorite photos. It stitched extremely well for 4 photos that I didnt give any thought to aligning in camera.

The first image was taken on a DSLR, the second on film. I started shooting and developing film this year and it has been fun to explore it's unique expression of light, especially in black and white. I still think digital sensors take stunning color photos though

Experimented over the summer with stand developing Fomapan 200. This was a bright day and I'm happy with how much detail there is from the highlights all the way to the deep shadows
