Exactly. Point b) will definitely need to be considered again. For example firm order to return to international airspace and if no response then warning flares and if no response then shoot it down.

It is the same with democracy. Some are just more democratic than others. Like in ancient Athens it was the elite that had all the rights. However, tech bro oligarchy with corrupted kingpin in the center of power is not progress but a decline to dark ages and end of respect and good will.

They have had 3 years to nuke the whole "collective west" but we are here still. Not going to happen in future either. Putin firstly and foremostly wants to live himself. Everyone else is secondary and by far.

I doubt very much that he would have that in mind. His base support group would have a big issue with it and coming Midterms is a threat for his executive powers.
