tbf, there was just barely enough to tie the gameplay of "humans vs. vampires" on equal-ish terms into the lore.
A lot was visual clues.
The Zephonim "Deceiver" for example defaults to a creepy cultist look with insectoid movements. But his "evolved" elite skin shows notable insect-like mutations.

I think the closest to exploring the background lore were the skin descriptions in their canceled asymmetric arena game "Nosgoth". The playable vampires were different clans just starting to mutate into the monster forms from the main games.

The US is hostile to anyone not actively playing at the big guys' table currently.
At this point my only hope is that the situation over there blows up soon. Because the only other alternative I see is that it keeps bottling up pressure, which will make the eventual fallout much worse...

Finding a sustainable pace was the hardest but most important thing I did after my diagnosis. It's going well so far - but I'm dreading any kind of bigger change to the status quo, because it has the potential to throw me out of my pace and into something entirely unpredictable...
