my upcoming GM and I had a talk about repeating TTRPG OCs. just the idea of what keeps that character "them" vs what is subject to change in each au/game.

Irlen, the fae inventor. He's beared, he's short and his hair changes color when he sneezes. But mostly he's out to make amends for his past. Hemlock, the [personal setting ancestry that's close to tieflings]. Despite their imposing frame and height, they are very reserved and polite to a fault.

These are the militia in my setting that are almost always paired with a hound of some sort ... but I didn't feel like drawing a dog. (Me? Step out of my art comfort zone? I'll do it later)

Last game featured a minor RP scene where a small group of ship crew (we run an Ante ship in Minata) were being rude, and Li, was not having it. Li is a very polite soft-spoken man but he is very adept when it comes to intimidation.

A new set of #originalcharacter s that I am using to explore aspects of my setting through self indulgent writings. Their aim is to find the living gods and interview them.

It was all Rufus’ idea. He’s… ambitious.

This is Li, my new #pathfinder2e character for our Tian Xia campaign (Hikari retired in the lap of luxury). He's a part of the Tau Nui clan and works for the Ante in Minata.
He's also about the sweetest, most soft-spoken barbarian you'll ever meet in your life.
