Working on my first VRChat world. It is slow going, but each update makes this place feel more "real". Jumping into VR and seeing this place in person was somewhat emotional for me. I've always been a builder and a dreamer. I want to build spaces where people can connect and create memories.

I sometimes do an art… Not sure what happened here. I was going to draw my albino skunk character, Edith… But I drew a possum instead. I literally forgot Edith was a skunk lol

Non-Photo Blue pencils. I want to do a video on my favorites some day! I will say, the Prismacolor Col-Erase is an oddball. Hard lead. Needs heavy pressure. I find it works best with a heavier paper with a coarse tooth. Something that can fight it to extract the pigment it doesn’t want to give up.

On the road to writing my first graphic novel, I’ve absolutely engrossed myself in study. Such a fascinating rabbit hole it has become. I’ve bought an embarrassingly large number of books on the subject. I just wanted to show off the cover of this one. Looks like something out of Gravity Falls!

The blessing and the curse of being creative is to always know my output never quite lives up to the vision in my head. I wish my skills could do justice to my vision. My output falls short. But, I know I am making progress. I have to keep pressing forward. It is good to have something push towards.

I’m learning the art of not caring. Stressed about getting the pose just right? Just draw it. Be messy if that’s all you’ve got and don’t hold back. In this day and age? We got machines that will spit out just whatever with utmost confidence. Why stress? You have got soul. Lay it out. No matter what

I feel I've let myself be held back from so much because of perfectionism. I guess if I could give any artistic advice, I would say just go for it. Dive in. Explore. Experiment. For Pete sake, get messy. Pour hard fought passion into a page and watch your pen strokes come to life. Express your soul.

Honestly, I think I might have to split the shorts down the middle and just retopologize half with a mirror modifier... But, gosh. How do you work in tight spaces like this? x.x

Updated my avatar a bit tonight. Some old clothing I modeled last year. Updated my wicker with a new fur shader. Wanted to get a photo with an action pose. Had trouble getting my balance right for the shot.
