Speaking of ace novels, @annzhao.bsky.social wrote an amazing, fun story about two aroace college students who become fast friends all while unknowingly running rival relationship advice blogs. I’m still bummed I missed the author’s visit to one of my local bookstores back in April.

Next is Wren Martin Ruins it All by Amanda DeWitt. This YA novel about an ace teen trying to cancel the yearly Valentine’s Day dance, only to be put in charge of a buddy-based dance with his frustratingly perfect rival, was one of the funniest novels I read all year.
