re: the staff-spear conversions, does that include legendaries? i'm guessing not because that's an insane amount of work, but... still kinda hoping that this is the stop-gap solution for the "no g3 aurene spear" problem regardless

My guess had been sometime post-MoP (maybe closer to end of WoD)- basically as a consequence of the Purge of Dalaran causing tensions in Silvermoon to run super high.

Not super fussed to be wrong, all told, bc I imagine that's still when the void research started. But it's good to finally know!
