The FLGS had the older kit and that's more than good enough for me to mess around and figure out my colour scheme on.
Skaven have a lot of personality, quite fun. I could do a lot of these

They're a work in progress, below is what the bases will be doing when I'm done. Tradition can take heart, there's lots of Moot Green in it

Wouldn't take all that much modification for these to be Dark Mechanicum Obliteraters

I think the metals and the hazard yellow stripes are solid enough to stay, but the overall colour balance isn't right yet. If I keep the red it needs to be bolder. The orange-brown maybe should be a much darker colour. If I keep that green OSL that's a lot of bright already and it's a fun effect

I consider them p fantastic for a first stab. I have to carefully consider what I might change for the next test rats

I added the OSL to idk, spice it up a little. It's just moot green drybrushed up from the bottom. I did it before he got glued to the base so it was easy to get underneath

The other guy also looks okay in red! Now I need a break before I tackle the metals.
