I was Francis's regular fact-checker at The Atlantic for a time, and I was so fond of him. To fact-check (to edit generally, really) is to spend sustained time in someone else's brain, and his was so full of music and stories and insight. I'll miss him.
Today on Fresh Air, a special remembrance of Terry's husband, Francis Davis. They were together for 47 years. He died April 14.
