Also melancholy, my cat Tango. Cats belong indoors. Houdini cat here had a different opinion and clawed through screens to get out, including jumping from the 2nd floor.

It was apparently National Siblings Day, or so many posts told me. Hit me hard, as my brother died unexpectedly in January. My sister and I are always going to miss him, since neither of us can remember life without him. I took this picture shortly after his death trying to capture him. #siblings

Spring means fur. Time to shed the winter coat. Gandalf here needs brushed a couple of times a day because he has super thick fur. The other 3 don't need brushed, but they are contributing to the furbleweeds that blow around the floors.

The rarest of cat pairings in the house. Nova is full of attitude normally, and thd other cats don't always trust her affectionate side.

Got stunned into some silence by an unexpected death in my family. Will continue to share cats and books and baking and those things that make my heart happy, as they are more important than ever. There's never as much "plenty of time" as you think or want.

My bread. I didn't add the everything bagel seasoning inside, but did sprinkle it on the top with more cheese. It smells divine. Looking forward to some late night soup and bread.

I have 2 other former TNRs as well. My daughter was living in Utah, and took them in as kittens. She moved back to Canada and in with us. Her current place is not in any way cat safe and they had bonded with my cats, so they stayed. Last of the 4 was on his way to the SPCA. We do rescue here. 😊
