I wish my American friends understood that community naturally strengthens through small consistent acts. It’s not about Patreon or putting together some event. You just need to show up and do your small part all the time. It’s an act of humility rather than ego. I fear too many miss that point.

Community isn’t something that individuals build around themselves- that’s a called a cult. Friends aren’t inherently community, they’re friends. Community isn’t something to narcissistically create, it’s a consistent set of actions. It’s taking care of the places you are in WITH those who share it.
