Really thankful the launch I saw from Florida a couple of weeks ago went off without exploding. That felt sketchy enough from Cocoa Beach.

I have my Walkman from high school (graduated 30 years ago this month.) Broke it out recently because I got a few records or singles in cassette a week or two before they hit streaming or the cd/ vinyl releases.

As a Detroiter, I hate to see it but damn, after last year... like the Lions and Tigers, they are coming out of an unexpectedly great year and going to head into one with all of the expectations and I'm all for it

I still need 5 & 6 to complete the series. Then it's just oddball things like the Thrilling Visions that he first appeared in. Been a 30 year slow roll in collecting the Carrot and his various appearances starting with the TMNT issues

I had tickets to see WWE Smackdown that night, ended up being the first episode from the Performance Center. Still have the physical tickets hanging on my wall in my office (formerly dining room)

Heck, a large percentage of packages I get from businesses like Macys are shipped via UPS but the post office does the final delivery.

My parents didn't bother with me, they put my teeth in a glass of water on top of the TV because I was too light of a sleeper but I assume if they were going to be under my pillow, I would not have been stoked. Plus side, I used to get Ewoks, which probably shows my age

The first time I remember seeing the show was New Year's 89 I guess when they must have reran the episode from a few months prior with the nude beach. I was 11 and it totally clicked, I had a new favorite show and that was that

Cut to yesterday, I go out to shovel after we got some snow and I notice someone in the shelter and on second glance. It's not a cat like I expected. He stayed all day and wandered off around 8pm but was back this morning. Makes me feel good that he thinks it's safe enough of a spot to hang out.
