I just happened to be near Grover's Mill. So I had to introduce my kids to a bit of history.
A bronze plaque entitled "Martian Landing Site", with a flying saucer, Orson Welles in a sound studio, and a frightened family listening to a radio. The date on the plaque is October 30, 1938.

I've become acutely aware that having lots of cats in the house has conditioned me to never actually *rock* in a rocking chair. The desk chair I use is a kneeling rocker, but usually has at least one cat underneath.

I introduced my family and friends to the annual memorial for Captain Emilio Carranza in the NJ pines. This is the 98th year the Mt Holly American Legion has held the event. #NJ #PineBarrens #Carranza

Morristown #NoKings rally had an estimated 4,000 people. Mikie Sherrill and Tom Malinowski spoke, but I still think the best speaker was Pastor Luanna Cook Scott from the Morristown United Methodist church ... and not just because I know her from #RollerDerby as Pastor Bedtime.
