Yes,everyone should try. Just try to avoid falling into survivorship bias. I have watched a lot of crowdfunds for trans people fail and the one that started it was devastated by it.
I guess I have just seen way to many say " just use gofundme" type stuff casually like it is easy.

Some of us just need to put in more work than others.

In my experience, the only ones that can successfully fund raise for surgeries are those who already have large platforms and those who are attractive enough. Maybe if they can effectively already afford it but just use fund raising to speed up the process.

It would be great to just kill the distinction based on appearance concept.
I have been called a brick,pushed out of trans spaces and mistreated in the trans community due to my appearance.

What helps me with it is accepting that we all don't start from the same position, get the same results,or will fit cisheteronormative beauty stands and there is nothing inherently wrong with any of it.
