Day 185 earrings are Barbie hearts. Mom bought the charms at the exhibit, and I turned them into earrings. Mattel is missing a tremendous opportunity to make earrings for people!

Day 184 earrings are a new pair I bought last week. These made by my friend Layne from silver spoon handles. He also makes rings and keychains. I kept waiting for him to make earrings and bought these right away.

Day 181 earrings are polar bears. I bought these in Utqiagvik (formerly Barrow), Alaska in 2004. They were made by an Inupiat artist.
Also, if you ever get a chance to go to Utqiagvik, I highly recommend it.

Day 172 earrings are tennis rackets. Why did I buy these off Etsy? Because I have a shirt with tennis rackets on it and needed earrings to match, of course!

Day 171 earrings feature an inuksuk. I bought these in Carcross, Yukon Territory, Canada in 2018. I have never seen a real inuksuk anywhere (though I would love to), so this is as close as I can get.

Day 170 earrings are wooden squares. I bought these in Belize in 2011. I’m sure the person I bought them from told me what kind of wood they were, but that information disappeared into the dark recesses of my brain, never to be found again.

Day 168 earrings are butterflies. Mom bought these in Bruges, Belgium in 2011. I borrowed them once and never returned them. They are made of lace.
