After how fun and weird a con is, going back to normal life can be a downer. I'm very lucky that my home and job have a touch of fun and weird to make the transition less harsh.

I'm back in California, so final thoughts on Seattle here. This view from my hotel room summed up a lot of the area I stayed in. The public transit was great. Lots of clouds, but some sky there occasionally. Mix of buildings that are old, new, nice and not so nice. Also graffiti here and there.

The weather has mostly been nice in Seattle. There has been some rain, but that's not all bad when there's also rainbows.

I made an arcade button box to go with our dance pad setup. Selecting a song is much easier with the buttons.
I designed and printed the box. It snaps together with magnets.

In the hopes of getting someone else in the house to check out some of the Discworld series, I bought some of the graphic novels and illustrated ones. Ended up buying used because that's what was available. Very happy with that decision as I found this in my copy of The Last Hero.

We got a nice DDR pad and now every day is leg day. My legs hurt so much and yet I keep taking turns with my child.

So today my younger child and me were going over some alphabet flashcards. They have letters on one side and an animal on the other side "A is for alligator" and such. We get to B and it goes "B is for... Dragon". Honestly I can't really fault him, look at that majestic wingspan.
