Chicory I found in a parking lot (was very excited to harvest those seeds), “blue” mist flower (it’s clearly purple?!), and purple asters - the asters I got the seeds from some plants at a friend’s house in VT last year and I forgot I planted them until they came up 😂

putting some nature on the timeline bc I’m sure somebody else could also use it. I took these pictures a few weeks ago at this local park - I’ve never lived anywhere with bogs before and I always pictured them as being significantly less pretty?! it was so gorgeous and we saw a chipmunk!

this is really the crux of it for me — we are watching the Overton window get moved in realtime, & I'm seeing people who were formerly pretty reasonable drift the same way, because of the level of insane bullshit we're all hearing 24/7. What better time to be proactive about event safety?

One of my deities, Perchta, who I affectionately refer to as the one who gives me the most homework, is directly associated with these practices, which is part of why I was so excited. It was a really good time and I was really happy with how my costume came out (I made most of it!) #heathensky

One of the events I was most looking forward to after moving here was the Parade of Spirits. After all, parades where we dress up scary & make a lot of noise to honor the Wild Hunt and tell the bad vibes to fuck off for the new year are a time-honored tradition #heathensky #pagansky

I have been having a mystery issue with my older Singer where the tension will be fine for some time (sometimes longer, sometimes shorter) and then I get minor bunching on the bottom (that, of course, makes it impossible to keep going) 🫠 if by any chance one of you has an idea re cause I’m all ears
