One of the key questions in my season of Autocracy in America is if Trump, or someone like him, was inevitable. Believing he was a one-off occurrence is dangerously short-sighted. What conditions led to such a person winning the US presidency twice? If they don’t change, the results won’t either.

Benn respectfully I think Kamala winning would have at best forestalled where we've ended up. Her speeches about making the US the most lethal fighting force on Earth again certainly don't suggest she was significantly ideologically opposed to this course of action either.

Dems don't seem to understand being more aggressive in calling out the side that claims to represent you but does nothing makes more sense and is much more valuable than calling out the side that is very open about working towards our destruction.
