DEATH BLAST!!!! 💥💥💥
A short comic about me and my siblings annoying each other (and Dad). (1/2)
Panel 1: A phone sits on a clean surface. The screen is black. Panel 2: Similar to the last panel, but now the phone is blaring an alarm. The screen says "LAUNDRY ALARM" *PING PING PING* Panel 3: A closed door to a bedroom is seen. Panel 4: Skippy is opening the door, an empty laundry bag is slung over her left shoulder. Panel 5: Skippy has opened the door all the way, but she stops before she exits her room. She seems surprised by something the reader does not yet see. Panel 1: Skippy's younger sister KAZOO is standing right outside of the door. Panel 2: Shows Skippy looking down at her sister, mildly annoyed because Kazoo is blocking her from exiting into the hall. Panel 3: Skippy asks Kazoo, a little exasperated, "Can I get passed?" Kazoo responds with narrowed eyes, "You're not allowed..." Panel 1: We see a little picture of Kazoo as she launches into a comically long explanation about how Skippy is "not authorized" to enter the hallway. It's clear she's just doing this to be annoying and playful. Eventually her long winded explanation devolves into "blah blah blah". Skippy looks annoyed and is clearly not paying attention. There are two thought bubbles on either side of her as she thinks, "Gotta go before anyone touches my stuff... How do you skip dialogue IRL?" Panel 2: Suddenly Skippy points directly at Kazoo, a bright light emanating from it as if she is casting magic. Kazoo's hair and dress are blown back as if by a strong wind. The younger seems genuinely surprised while Skippy screams at the top of her lungs. "DEATH BLAST!!!" Panel 1: Skippy's confusing outburst works, as Kazoo is now too shocked and confused to stop her from entering the hallway. Skippy walks down the hall, whistling as if nothing happened. Panel 2: Cut to the laundry room, Skippy is opening the drier. A plume of steam is coming off of the fresh clothes. Panel 3: Skippy's laundry bag is now full. The words "Clean" and "Dry" can be seen accompanied by sparkles. Panel 4: Skippy is hugging the bag with a large smile. Little hearts float in the air around her. The words "Warm PJ's" are on either side of her. Panel 5: Skippy, clean clothes in hand, enters her apartment visibly pleased.
