Thank you! You may have already seen this but there's footage on YouTube of Ka-1 being operated from the Akitsu Maru which is the one IJA ship I was really aware of having included in a list of the 10 worst aircraft carriers...

I've wondered about the IJA's fleet, did it mean you could join the army as a sailor with a full career path? Or were they civilian crewed, or some other scheme I haven't thought of?

As noted you've got a Yagi array on each wing for the ASV radar, very basic display just a wiggly line running up the screen. Outboard of that you have the posts that lock into the tailplane when the wings are folded.

Tried to distract the cat from having it's fur declumped by playing slaps with it. I lost 8-1 but I feel the one time I patted her paw first as a moral victory.
