This has happened for years now, it's because the Switch 2 upgrade for the Switch 1 version is $10, so the Switch 2 version is $10 more as it comes with the upgrade.

I wouldn't necessarily think so. I think Sparks of Hope is programmed to be locked at 30fps. The Switch 2 would absolutely be able to run the game at 60fps but the game itself won't allow it because of the cap.

Unfortunately, it's capped at 30fps. It'll need an update to reach 60fps.

They know Sonic fans will eat anything up on Nintendo platforms.

Yeah they are making us wait a good while for the first 3DS game. However, I do think they'll put Miitopia under Switch as I think they'll include the music that came with the extra content in the Switch remaster.
