Billionaires should be taxed out of existence because hoarding that amount of resources serves no beneficial purpose, even for themselves. Billionaires use their obscene wealth to undermine democracy, the rule of law, and the Constitution. Their very existence violates public policy.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

Empathy and compassion are NOT synonyms. Empathy is the innate ability of the reptilian brain to map the minds of others. You can’t turn empathy on or off. Compassion and cruelty, good and evil, are choices people make in response to what empathy maps. E.g., Sociopaths have great empathy.
