it might be ugly if you are a pro but i'm very happy with this. it passed the tests and i wrote it all by myself. i am redoing the CS50 problems from the start as i wasn't feeling confident at all. it is so motivating when it starts to make sense!

Thoughts on this? Are we being made to jump to conclusions or is there a genuine Silicon Valley tantrum going on?

How often do you start developing something with the aim of completing it but end up having more work to do than you did when you started?
January 11, 2025 at 4:55 PM
For the Bluesky fans here, take a look at this! I just opened a new account with X. The app is pretty awesome. I don't think you count it out yet...

It has been studied since the 50s and 60s -

Yes, moves are being made. EU emissions alone are 37% lower than 1990.

Data Centres are transitioning to small reactors etc.

Emissions are falling in developed nations. Rich countries need to fund developing nations to hit targets.

Expect lots of downtime but also lots of improvements along the way as I build in public and learn how to use a computer!

My road map for 2025 and beyond was designed a couple of months back. I started in November. My goal was to sketch out the life envisaged for myself in a way that I would enjoy the process. That way I don't need to decide each step, I just act out the plan knowing I am on course. (In dark mode obvs)

2025 is about becoming a digital nomad. Life backed me into a corner, so, I chose to risk it all and live cheap in Asia. I have the time now to learn tech, rather than be stuck in a low paying job. It is better already! The challenge this year is making it sustainable. Can I survive on a blog?

Has anyone else got an AI feature on their WhatsApp now? I have 2 accounts, one in the UK and one in Asia. Only my Asian account has the AI facility.

No update or anything, it just appeared.

I am so done with big tech.
