Thank goodness you are one of the sensible Democrats who were joined by other moderates who finally stopped the Schumer shutdown.w

Maybe in the Blue States.
But in the battleground states needed to win the Senate and the Presidency, the last major election showed a shift to the right, especially among young voters.
If the Dems do not move closer to the center, they will continue to lose the swing voters battleground states.

As a Middle Class voter, I support taxing the rich as long as some of this revenue goes towards preserving Social Security and reducing the deficit, and the taxing of the "rich" and corporations is not so severe it harms Middle Class retirement Investment Asset values.

There will be a compromise bill that will pass. The "subsidy cliff" will be addressed for those making over 400% of the federal povrerty line, while the enhamved subsidies for those making less than 400% of the federal poverty line will simply revert back to the original , very fair, levels.

All of the hysterical fears proved unfounded, as everyone knew the Supreme Court was not going to overturn Gay Marriage.
They will, however, justifiably rule to prent those with penises to compete with momen and invade their locker rooms.

Stop the hyperbole.
No one will starve, as they wil get partial benefits.
Plus, looking at the clientele of many of the recent food banks, most can afford to lose a few pounds.
We have the fattest "starving" people the world has ever seen.

Recruitment is up so high the Military does not need Trans Soldiers and the cost and disruptions they cause.
We can do without them.

I am middle class and my household will pay $2,200 per year less in taxes by the extension of the middle class portion of the 2017 tax cuts, plus $2440 more in tax cuts as we are seniors.
These are NOT insubstantial.
Stop GASLIGHTING the Middle Class, Rep Pocan.
Much more than what Kamala offered.

You are evidently as intelligent as your ability to spell.

The expected Tariff income per year is projected to be much more than our annual Social Security deficit.
Why not use this money to backstop Social Security so it breaks even every year?
This would be very fair. Everyone indirectly pays for tariffs and recxeives SS when they retire.

Middle Class taxpayers also get an AVERAGE tax cut of $1859 per median household. Plus tax cuts for senior citizens and hourly working taxpayers that make overtime. Plus no taxes on tips and deductible charitable donations and car loan interest.
Better than what Harris offered the Middle Class.

The Big Beautiful Bill actually HELPS Middle Class taxpayers.
According to the respected Pew Institute, the Median Income for Middle Class households is $99,437. The BBB act results in a tax DECREASE of $1,839.
This is SIGNIFICANT money for Middle Class Households.
A very GOOD thing.

Letting the states directly fund their school districts without having to take Federal Money (and the DOE's social and "equity" demands, means more direct parental control and less expensive indoctrination for our children.
Schools were actually better BEFORE the Department was established in 1980.

Removing fraud from Medicaid and those who do not belong is not harming Medicaid.
Also, many states are taking the taxpayers for a ride in the way they bil the government, and before this reform, had a perverse incentive to not root our fraud or people who do not belong in Medicaid.

The majority understands this to be true.

I haven't ridden public transit for 15 years, except for AMTRAK, which I used three times in that time period.
July 30, 2025 at 4:00 PM
The tax cut helped millions in the Middle Class.
Should I give up thousands per year in tax cuts to keep wealthier people from also getting tax cuts?
I do not resent wealthy people enough to give uyp thousands per year just to spite the rich.

After all of these lower judges decisions are appealed, however, he usually wins in the Supreme Court.

I'm glad Fetterman is representing PAas well as the rst of the country.
Much better than the hysterical Corey Bookes who achieves nothing with his antics.
July 28, 2025 at 3:38 PM
We need a moderate who will fight for the Middle Class in PA far more than a Leftist "progressive" obsessed with the downward redistribution of Middle Class wealth.
Keep up the good work, Senator.

HAMAS actually is responsible, as they REFUSE to lay down their terrorist arms and go into exile.
And HAMAS is intercepting food meant for children. Do you see any HAMAS terrorists starving?
July 28, 2025 at 3:35 PM
These people are ILLEGALS.
And these are not "concentration camps".
Just holding areas until they van be rightfully deported.
Fortunately, the Florida facility has a large airport runway within the camp itself, and these deportation planes are revved up and fling' out with frequency.
July 28, 2025 at 3:33 PM
The Federal government does NOT fund mass transit much in the way of operating funds, except in the case of capital maintenance.
A deal will be made in Harrisburg, but SEPTA will have to trim down iys patronage and DEI waste.
July 28, 2025 at 3:30 PM
That is because it is not Genocide,
All HAMAS has to do is surrender its terrorist arms and go into exile.
THEY are the terrorists prolonging GAZA suffering.
