My money is on a Control based tv-show. Tho, After the poor showing of Firebreak Remedy might have moved up the timeline to staunch the bleeding. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Firebreak has a DLC planned around Control 2's release and they rearranged projects to get it our sooner.

This is what I think should happen based on the facts so far:
* Restore everything as before September 9
* Let those previous trusted maintainers establish a clear governance
* Marty should resign/be fired for this, I think that trust can't be restored and RubyGems is not someone's dictatorship

I write Ruby professionally and this doesn't look good no matter how you slice it. No comms before change in governance, no comms about transition plan, unilaterally removing long-time stewards from admin access. This looks and feels bad. This is the opposite of open source.
