I might have had the tiniest crash out while on travel last week. Final night of a business trip getting AI shoved down my throat and eating only hotel catering for a week, I order dinner.
For additional context, this was tsukemen (dipping) ramen. Thankfully the hotel concierge had utensil packs.

The last harvest from my deck, the apple butter I made over the weekend, and a sourdough culture I’m creating from scratch.
I also made 3 batches of soap Sunday but those aren’t ready for pictures.

I have formulated a complete backyard overhaul for a veg garden. Now, if I can just gather enough energy and willpower to pull up hundreds of pounds of brick, then buy some raised beds and a lot of dirt/compost. (underneath the brick is highly compacted clay)

Woke up to an adult 5-lined skink hanging out in a bathroom. Always thankful I grew up around so many animals and worked in a pet shop cause eventually I said, "just bite me, you don't have any teeth that matter".

This year’s Wrapped is as silly and entertaining as always. I don’t even understand the jumble of words that is the July genre.

The third successful soap I made. Would up the super fat, though I'm realizing I want to do that across the board with every recipe I've made.

The second soap I made. Meant to be a kitchen soap. The 10x orange is stronger than I wanted in the blend but I think it will fade faster than the lemongrass over time. The soap molds are cute but a little hard to unmold from.
I kinda like the sticky-note design I've made, we'll see if I keep it.

I'm going to start doing this for the soaps I've made.
First up is a 100% rice bran oil soap scented with fresh apples. The fragrance was headache inducing strong for the first week but has since died down to a very pleasant level.
This will be finished curing between Nov 6-20.
