Travels a bit..... 🇨🇦 🇮🇸 🇩🇪 🇺🇸 (on hold!) 🇮🇹 🇦🇺
5 replacements in 2 months is not normal....
Two I just used NFC for the two weeks.
Something was wrong, no doubt about it.
Reported but zero feedback.

I reported a load of problems with the 2+ this summer via support - no feedback.
Wildly inaccurate readings, failing on day of application or refusing to connect via BT (NFC only).
All coded 301 instead of 3MH. Seems to be resolved now.
PS - the article literally says the Sensor was wrong, not user.

Whatever happened to the 'war on Christmas' they declared every year....? 😂😂 /s

War on Christmas: From a thrown tree to a split parade, battles public and private raged on in 2022
Battles over Christmas put several on the naughty list this year, including a man who threw a Christmas tree at this wife and a stabbing over Christmas decorations.

The whole argument for Hydrogen falls apart with its dreadful 'well' to wheel efficiency (or lack of).

Every hydrogen transport or heating scheme has failed - when will politicians stop subsidising it?

Just indirectly then - because he wouldn't speak to foreigners in any case?

Monsieur Macron should issue a one word response:

"Pardon!"

Was someone planning to scratch the paint on a tesla?

Ahhhh, so it's got nothing to do with the economy being fucked over by Brexit - that the Government is only just starting to (reluctantly) acknowledge?

The rest of the world realised years ago - come on.....

Being born in the richest country in the world should at least give you a fighting chance of the best healthcare.
I thankfully wasn't born there nor live there - I'm one of the 6bn looking on in horror at this...

When merely staying alive becomes an unbearable financial burden the alternative is simply a death cult.

She just deliberately forgot to add any cement to hold the foundations of society together - oops!

The red roof stands out beautifully in the snow as well.

They also don't understand how much time and money it takes to build soft power around the world.

But, hey, zero sum game - someone's gotta lose. They just don't realise who the loser is yet...

Just out of interest, would that not come under Loch Duartmore / Loch Dubhaird Mòr?
maps.nls.uk is down just now unfortunately but it is shown on OS as continuing from the west all the way to the old bridge.

There must be a not so subtle message in that image...

Nothing first - Except MmmmEEEEEEEE (© Pierre).

Or to brutalise English - Nothing aboard - perhaps including a brain...

Thank you for posting all these photos - they make me go back and look at all the ones I took last year.
Reminding me of a truly phenomenal trip to this amazing island.

View from the east - in snow. March 2024.
Really makes the layers of rock stand out beautifully.
March 27, 2025 at 11:05 AM
One by itself wouldn't burn at all really. Much the same as coal or wood you'd put maybe around a dozen in at a time and depending on how you set the vents in the stove it would burn for about three hours or thereabouts.

Haven't even been all the way round Hringvegur - snow meant a 250km drive through a snowstorm via 76 to Akureyri.
4 vehicles made it there - 3 days snowed in. Brilliant 😂
Rest of the Ring via some wonderful towns - and occasional F road detours.

That'll last maybe 2 years - had to carry them inside anyway - no big deal to make a wee stacked wall while I was at it.
Easier than getting them off the moor in the first place anyway 😂
March 23, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Almost the same - usually stacked like this. I keep mine inside an old barn.
March 23, 2025 at 9:35 PM
I should be cutting / lifting them starting April - shattered elbow says otherwise right now.
Outer Hebrides is the same - mostly hand dug, not commercial at all. Increased in the last few years with energy prices rising.
Now burned in a multifuel stove instead of an aga or open fire.
