More board, now with poop! Slowly working through the background.
Work in progress in colored pencil. Two uncolored goats in the foreground. Background has three light brown boards running horizontal over three weathered grey boards. Some bird poop on the boards. Bottom horizontal board only partially blocked in with color.

Yeah, I'm going to be board for awhile on this piece.
Work in progress with the boards of the food bunker in the background partially done. Two goats are sketched in the foreground without other color added. An upside down photo also sits on the image because the artist forgot to take it off before taking a picture and is too lazy to remove it to take another.

Before nesting and when courting each other Bald Eagles will fly with their mate, lock talons and fall, each trusting the other to let go before they are harmed.
I didn't think about the fact I would finish this around the 4th of July.

Dear companies, don't use AI for your ads. It makes it look like you don't have any good videos of your product and the only reason to not have good videos of your product is because it is crap. AI makes your product look like crap.

The top creature is not a dog - it is an AI conglomeration that looks like the front half of a dog with no front legs attached the legs of a dark skinned person wearing shorts that have a rottweiler tail printed on them. The second image has the mutant beast with a single human arm in place of a foreleg.

Just a couple favorites out of the *9* sketched ideas from this weekend!
American flag on left, Irish flag on right. Colors "running" from the ends into knotwork. "But as you ascend the ladder, look out below where you tread. I've been working on a project I can't share yet... but is really cool! (to me, at least!) So have an older piece of mine that I still like from 2003. It certainly isn't perfect, and I've come a long way, but I'm happy how the bagpipes and tartan looked and want to revisit the idea some day.

Colors are soft and shading is poor. Collie's hands are a little frightening. Watermark is old and no longer an active website.

Of course the only picture I can find right now of The Perfect Tree is this one out the back window after a snow storm. I think it is a maple? It is perfectly round and looks like the picture out of the dictionary under the definition of "Tree". We don't prune it, it just has grown perfect.
Terrible picture of a tree in the snow. Picture is out a glass door with snow coming up about a third of the way with a sign on the door "Last one out, please lock the door". The tree is in the background to the left of the sign. There are no leaves, being winter and all, but it is still the perfect tree. Also in the photo are dog kennels on the right and the date 02/07/2008 down in the right lower corner that marks it as taken before time began.

Three butterflies - male and female Monarch butterfly plus the mimic, the Viceroy butterfly.
Round artwork - three butterflies in a circle. Two are Monarch butterfly - one male, one female, the other is the mimic, Viceroy butterfly. Blue Celtic knotwork is woven around the butterflies with smaller green trefoil knotwork in the center and tips of the butterfly wings.

Woah! Hello new followers! I better post things, eh? Well, this covers the gamut of what I do pretty well:
1) "Drop of Sunshine" - Colored Pencil on Shrink plastic
2) "Fin" - Colored Pencil Pet Portrait
3) "Glass Half..." - Fantasy Colored Pencil
4) "Make New Friends" - Celtic Style Metallic Ink
Yellow and orange small passerine bird on a branch preening itself. Surrounded by leaves with blue sky in the background White, Border-collie like dog with black spots on back, base of tail, and covering both ears. Has a brown spot over the left eye. Curled up laying down with his tail around him. Same image inverted beside itself. Human hand holding a glass while water flows into/out of it (depending on perspective). Hand is held up or back by several animal feet - Top to bottom and left to right: tiger, eagle, wolf, bear, horse, deer, fox, rabbit, raccoon, crow, bobcat and mouse. Two gryphons in Celtic style looping around each other. Wings out as if in playful flight. One is mostly silver with gold accents and the other is mostly gold with silver accents. Tails of each are stylized and elongated to loop around each other and form corner knotwork.

Both of these were done much faster than my usual pieces, so forgive some of the roughness (I wanted something unique for the actors to sign at a convention).
"King of Hellhounds" and "Team Free Will"
Crowley from Supernatural TV show sits in a fancy "throne of hell" chair with two "phantom" dogs/hell hounds at his knees and a pair of black and red hound decorations above/behind the chair. Surrounded by Celtic knotwork. Hounds and Crowley done in Celtic stylization Dean, Sam, and Castiel from Supernatural. In a Celtic circle with copper anti-possession star in the middle. Surrounded by Knotwork stylized outer portion of anti-possession symbol in silver. Each character holds their typical weapon - Sam has Demon killing blade, Dean has his gun and Castiel the angel blade. Tied together with gold knotowrk.
