I notice the White House claims tariffs are responsible for the strong third quarter economic growth. I doubt that. I attribute the growth to “Black Friday” sales beginning in the middle of October, and people spending without abandon because it may be the last Christmas we’ll be able to do that.

To the self proclaimed grammar police: The English language is a living, growing, evolving thing. It is the way actual, English speaking people speak, not necessarily a set of rules set forth in a 1950s grammar textbook.

What I don’t understand is why anyone would consider “woke” to be a bad thing. It’s enlightenment. It’s tolerance. It’s promoting equality, acceptance and brotherhood. It seems to me that it’s something we should all strive to be, as Americans and as human beings.
